The CPC Corporation intended to move one of their oil refineries from Houjing to Dalin in 2015. Part of the reasons is that the inhabitants of Houjing keep manifesting their anger towards the environmental pollution made by the oil refinery to the Government. However, if the decision of the refinery transfer has been made, the current employees of Houjing will face redundancy problem. In order to support our brotherhood with Taiwan Petroleum Workers Union (TPWU) for requesting“Jobs Saving”, our President Mr. Wu led the Standing Executive Board to join the demonstration in front of Ministry of Economics Affairs on the 7th April 2010.
